As a warehouse employee, you should recognize yourself in the following:

• You speak the Dutch or English language.
• You are willing to work in Bodegraven.
• You are available full-time.
• You are 18 years or older.
• You have your own transportation.
• You are available to work in the 3-shift system.
• You are available to start within one month.

At Velder in Bodegraven, you work as a warehouse employee in the Maintenance department, where the temperature is approximately 14 degrees Celsius. Using an EPT (Electric Pallet Truck), you move pallets loaded with cheeses. Your role involves facilitating the maintenance of the machines, which includes applying a protective layer and turning the cheeses. This entire process is fully handled by the machines. You use the screen on your EPT to view orders and confirm them once they are finished. The work as a warehouse employee is not physically heavy.

• You collect cheese products in a chilled warehouse.
• You supply the machines with cheeses for maintenance (applying a protective layer and turning them). This process is done mechanically.
• Experience with an EPT (Electric Pallet Truck) is a plus.

At Velder, 4 million kilos of cheeses are ripening, mainly whole Dutch cheeses. The warehouse employee maintains the cheeses by hardening and turning them. The customers range from large cheese companies to small specialty cheese shops.

Velder takes good care of you as a warehouse employee. You will receive a jacket, hat, neck warmer, and gloves from Velder, and work shoes from Randstad. You will also be provided with a locker and an access badge. You will be properly trained and receive 1-on-1 guidance on your first day. Do you live at least 10 kilometers from the warehouse? Then you will receive a travel allowance of €0.21 per kilometer. This allowance applies for a maximum of 30 kilometers one way.

• Shift Allowances: 40% allowance from 06:00 to 07:00. 30% allowance from 18:00 to 22:00. 40% allowance from 22:00 to 00:00.
• You will receive a travel allowance of €0.21 per km, with a maximum coverage of 30 km one way.
• You'll be provided with warm clothing, such as a jacket, hat, and gloves, to keep you comfortable in the chilled warehouse (The temperature is around 14 degrees Celsius).
