Import & Customs Agent - Rozenburg

Working as an Import & Customs Agent for an American freight forwarder means overseeing every step of the import journey. You handle the administrative customs declarations while managing transport arrangements up to the final customer delivery. You act as the primary contact for clients and partners, ensuring high service quality throughout the supply chain. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 08:30 until 17:00, with occasional evening and weekend duties on a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Managing import shipments from end to end (A to Z)
• Preparing customs documents and handling clearances efficiently
• Organizing customer deliveries with inland transport partners
• Providing proactive customer service and updates to clients
• Ensuring all shipping documentation complies with customs standards
• Participating in rotating evening and weekend shifts

Requirements

• Practical experience in import, forwarding, or customs administration
• Proficient level of English
• Strong administrative and customer service skills
• Resident in or close to Rozenburg
