As a logistics employee, you like to get things done! You don’t mind doing physically demanding work. No experience? No problem! We’ll teach you the tasks. You’re also:

• At least 18 years old
• Flexible, available 3 to 5 days a week
• In possession of your own transport to get to work

At DPD in Joure, you’ll be working with packages. All the packages need to be sorted properly so that they’re sent in the right direction. How do we do that? Let me explain! The packages come in with our trucks, and it’s your job, along with your colleagues, to unload them. After that, you’ll take all the rolling containers to the right spot. A team of colleagues will be there to place the packages on the conveyor belt. After a smooth journey on the belt, they’ll reach the sorting department, where the packages are sorted by postcode. Sounds simple, but don’t be fooled! You’ll need to stay sharp. Can you spot the difference between 5665 and 5656 in just a few seconds? Also, the packages can weigh up to 23 kg. Think of it as a workout, and you’re getting paid for it! Once all the packages are sorted, your shift is done!

• Night shifts from 04:00 to 07:30
• Afternoon shifts from 16:00 to 19:30
• Workdays from Monday to Saturday

You’ll be working at DPD in Joure, one of the friendliest cities in Friesland. Or as they say in Frisian: ‘de moaiste stêd fan Fryslân’ (the most beautiful city in Friesland).
