Over de vacature
As demand for advanced technologies such as AI, automotive electronics, and smart devices continues to grow, so does the need for semiconductors. These chips are essential to countless industries and technologies that shape our daily lives.
At Trymax, we develop and build high-tech, plasma-based wafer-processing equipment for semiconductor manufacturers worldwide. As a Field Service Engineer, you work at the forefront of wafer-processing technology, supporting our growing international customer base with installation, service, and technical expertise. Are you ready for the challenge? What will be your role?
As a Field Service Engineer, you install, commission, service, and troubleshoot our systems at customers' sites, primarily across Europe and occasionally in the USA or Asia. You are the first point of contact for technical support and advice and, where applicable, carry out preventive maintenance under service agreements. Since much of the first-line maintenance is performed by our customers’ own technical teams, you also play an important role in training their service engineers and operators. By accurately documenting system issues and solutions, advising customers on spare parts management, and sharing technical knowledge, you help maximize system uptime and performance. You will also regularly meet with customers to discuss technical progress, service activities, and follow-up actions. When you are not travelling or working at a customer site, you will be based at our headquarters in Nijmegen. Here, you provide remote technical support to customers and colleagues via Microsoft Teams, email, and telephone, and prepare system upgrades, service activities, and documentation. You will join our team in Nijmegen and receive extensive onboarding and technical training to become familiar with our systems, technology, and procedures. In addition, experienced colleagues will provide hands-on, on-the-job training. Your manager will be in touch with you on a regular basis to support you. What we expect from you
You are passionate about our systems and are eager to learn about our latest developments and technologies. Driven by keeping our customers operational, you are focused on delivering results. As you’ll be working both independently and together with colleagues, you enjoy the balance between autonomy and teamwork. Your communication skills help you connect easily with colleagues, customers’ operators, engineers, and management. Most of the customers you support are located in Europe, but occasionally you may be called upon for assignments outside Europe, including in the USA or Asia. That is why you enjoy travelling and are comfortable working in an international environment. The knowledge and experience you bring to Trymax include: - A Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical field. You may also have gained this level of knowledge through relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of multiple disciplines, such as mechanical, electro-mechanical and electrical engineering, electronics, pneumatics, vacuum systems, robotics, RF technology, and software. Knowledge of vacuum systems, robotics, and/or RF technology is considered a plus.
- Work experience in equipment engineering, servicing, or the semiconductor industry is desirable, but not essential.
- Good working knowledge of English. Knowledge of German and/or Dutch is a plus.
- A valid driving licence.
What you’ll get in return
This role gives you the opportunity to work with some of the latest semiconductor technology as part of a team of dedicated specialists. At Trymax, you will find a strong sense of team spirit and belonging in an informal and open atmosphere. We also regularly organise activities to strengthen our community. You can also expect: - A salary between €4,000 and €6,000 gross per month, depending on your knowledge and experience.
- A one-year contract, with the prospect of a permanent position.
- Participation in the PME Pension Fund (Metalektro).
- 27 vacation days and 13 scheduled paid days off.
- Personal development, training, and education, geared to your needs.
- Travel allowance for your daily commute.
- A laptop and mobile phone.

Over de vacature
Introduction
Shape the technology behind ING’s global equity and listed-products business. As Product Owner, you will lead two squads responsible for applications across the Fidessa, Ullink and Horizon landscape. Combining Financial Markets expertise with product ownership and IT delivery, you will turn business priorities into sustainable solutions that strengthen execution, trade capture and operational stability.
The team
Financial Markets is ING’s gateway to professional markets worldwide, serving clients with products, services and guidance across market-leader, challenger and specialist international markets.
You will join the Financial Markets and Group Treasury Tribe, the change-delivery organisation supporting Financial Markets and Group Treasury. Within the tribe, the Global Equity Listed Products area delivers and evolves ING’s technology landscape for Equity Structured Products, Listed Derivatives and Fixed Income.
As part of the wider Customer Journey Expert community, you will work closely with a Product Manager, neighbouring Product Owners and stakeholders across Trading, Sales, Risk, Operations, IT and Procurement. You will lead two multidisciplinary squads of IT DevOps engineers and Customer Journey Experts.
Roles and responsibilities
You will set direction, make priorities transparent and enable the squads to deliver reliable end-to-end value.
- Own the vision, roadmap and backlog for the Fidessa and Horizon squads, aligned with product strategy and agreed business outcomes.
- Prioritise strategic change, regulatory demand and operational stability, making trade-offs across scope, timing and risk explicit.
- Translate business needs into clear outcomes, requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria that enable effective solution design and delivery.
- Drive end-to-end improvements in execution and trade-capture flows across systems, squads and operational handoffs.
- Lead refinement, sprint planning and reviews, maintaining a high-quality backlog and clear delivery alignment.
- Manage stakeholder and vendor governance, including change intake, release planning, prioritisation decisions and communication.
- Safeguard operational stability by turning incidents and risks into preventative backlog items and coordinating changes with run and operations teams.
- Apply systems thinking by identifying long-term risks created by tactical changes and prioritising sustainable solutions that reduce key-person dependencies.
How to succeed
We hire smart people like you for your potential. Our biggest expectation is that you’ll stay curious. Keep learning. Take on responsibility. In return, we’ll back you to develop into an even more awesome version of yourself.
- A bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of experience in Financial Markets and/or Treasury, enabling you to own complex change delivery with confidence.
- Strong knowledge of cash equities, equity-based structured products and their front-to-back flows, particularly execution, trade capture, controls and operational handoffs.
- Experience working with DevOps teams and sufficient technical understanding to assess application constraints and make informed trade-offs across scope, time and risk.
- Proven ownership of roadmaps and prioritisation, with the ability to balance competing strategic, regulatory, operational and stakeholder demands.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills in English, allowing you to align senior business and IT stakeholders.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum delivery. Knowledge of vendor trading platforms such as Fidessa, Horizon or comparable solutions, other asset classes and regulated environments would be valuable.
You are collaborative, curious and comfortable challenging the status quo. You listen to different perspectives, help others succeed and turn complex problems into practical, sustainable solutions.
