For a production company in the The Hague region, we are looking for motivated new colleagues. You will receive paid training, work alongside your own buddy and follow a fixed 3-shift schedule with every weekend free. After one year, you will become an employee of the client directly. In this position, you work as part of a fixed team within a continuous production environment. Your focus is on making sure products are handled correctly, checked carefully and prepared for the next stage of the process.

You monitor what is happening during your shift, register production information and make sure the right materials are available when needed. If you notice a quality issue or something unusual in the process, you report it immediately. A tidy, safe and organised workplace is also an important part of the job.

Previous production experience is not necessary. You will start with internal training and be linked to an experienced buddy. This colleague will show you the work in practice and help you learn the machines, procedures and safety standards at your own pace.

Your responsibilities

• Monitoring product quality
• Packing and preparing finished products
• Supplying materials to the production process
• Recording output, progress and waste
• Spotting and reporting irregularities
• Helping maintain a clean and safe production area
• Working closely with your team to keep the process moving
• Learning to work independently with the production equipment

Your working schedule

The company uses a fixed rotating system with morning, afternoon and night shifts.

5 shifts from 06:00 to 14:00

5 shifts from 14:00 to 22:00On Friday, this shift runs until 00:00

4 shifts from 22:00 to 06:00

After finishing the final night shift on Friday morning, you are free until Monday afternoon at 14:00.

The workplace is located in the The Hague region. Due to the early and late shift times, it is important that you can arrange your own transport to work.

As an production worker at IndoNova, you are the ideal candidate if you recognize yourself in the following:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You have at least one year of experience in production.
• You are willing to work in 5 shifts.
• You have a valid forklift certificate.
• You have your own transportation to work in Spijk.
• You speak English or Dutch.

what will you do
As a production worker at IndoNova, you will have a lot of variety in your work. From sorting plastic bottles to transporting raw materials with the forklift. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the process runs as smoothly as possible.

You do this by taking the correct measurements, monitoring the process, and identifying bottlenecks in time. You will be involved in the supply of bottles and sorting them. You will make sure everything is clean and safe both inside and outside. You will work on all steps of the production process.

• Working hours : 2 days from 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., from 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. and from 10:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. After that, you will be 4 days off. This means that you need to be able to work in the weekends.

At IndoNova in Spijk, they process used plastic bottles. The bottles are the base material for making food packaging and plastic fibers. For example, fleece jackets, plant pots, and even headphones are made from the plastic bottles recycled by IndoNova! They not only contribute to the creation of new products.
