As an Assistant Warehouse Manager, you’re right at the heart of our warehouse operations in Tilburg. You keep an eye on daily performance, coordinate activities on the floor and use data to find smarter ways of working. From improving processes to managing costs, your work has a direct impact on the success of the warehouse.

What You Will Do:

• Coordinate: supply chain processes and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth operations;
• Monitor: costs and review invoices to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities;
• Analyze: performance metrics and prepare reports (e.g., WBR and MBR) to improve KPI outcomes;
• Oversee: workforce planning, including managing temporary staff to meet operational demands;
• Support: operational tasks and act as the point of contact for internal departments like Finance and Accounting.

We’re looking for a proactive problem-solver who enjoys working with data, improving processes and making warehouse operations run more efficiently.

• 5+ years of experience in warehousing;
• MBO+ education or demonstrable HBO-level thinking and working skills;
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel;
• Fluent in English; Dutch or other languages are a plus;
• Strong numerical analysis skills; proactive and solution-oriented.

Wie ben jij
Jij bent een strategische, analytische en ondernemende leider die makkelijk bruggen bouwt. Om succesvol te starten in deze functie, is het volgende belangrijk:

• Je hebt een afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding.
• Je brengt 3 tot 5 jaar werkervaring in WFM mee.
• Je hebt minimaal 2 tot 3 jaar ervaring met stakeholdermanagement.
• Je beheerst de Nederlandse en Engelse taal uitstekend.
• Je bent voor minimaal 36 uur per week beschikbaar.

Wat ga je doen
Als Manager workforce operations ga je de complete workforce-strategie voor flexibel werken ontwikkelen en implementeren. Je geeft dagelijks leiding aan meerdere teams met in totaal 10 tot 15 planners. Hierdoor zie je jouw afdeling groeien, wat jou als people manager enorm veel voldoening en energie geeft! Je onderhoudt strategische contacten met uitzendpartners en zorgt voor de optimale personeelsbezetting. Ook ben je verantwoordelijk voor het professioneel opzetten en uitbouwen van de afdeling vanuit je standplaats in Zaltbommel. Zo krijg jij de ultieme vrijheid om jouw eigen visie werkelijkheid te maken en direct impact te hebben op de bedrijfsresultaten.
