Als laboratory technician in Maastricht voer je dagelijks diverse analyses uit. Je controleert de kwaliteit van verschillende producten. Je werkt nauw samen met jouw teamgenoten. Je legt verantwoording af aan de leidinggevende van de afdeling. Jouw takenpakket bestaat uit het draaien van tests voor uiteenlopende klanten. Je checkt de uitkomsten heel secuur. Daarna deel je deze resultaten volgens de afgesproken regels en planningen.

Daarnaast bewaak je alle veiligheidsregels op de werkvloer. Je vertaalt ingewikkelde veiligheidsbladen naar duidelijke instructies voor jouw collega's. Ook denk je actief mee over het verbeteren van testmethoden en werkprocessen. Door jouw inzet waarborg je de kwaliteit van de producten. Avantor is seeking a Production Support Laboratory Technician to support pharmaceutical production operations within a GMP-regulated environment in Nijmegen. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining cleanroom standards, preparing disinfectants and cleaning solutions, supporting GMP compounding activities, and providing operational support across departments.

• Perform routine cleanroom cleaning and disinfection activities in line with GMP requirements.
• Prepare and dispense cleaning and disinfection solutions for controlled production and laboratory areas.
• Provide hands-on support for GMP compounding and manufacturing activities.
• Complete documentation accurately and in compliance with GMP standards.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and workspaces are maintained according to quality and safety procedures.
• Support laboratory and production teams with day-to-day operational activities.

Essential

what will you do
As a laboratory technician at the Microbiology department, you are responsible for performing microbiological analyzes. Various techniques are used for this, such as Environmental Monitoring, Bioburden, Endotoxin determination (LAL), sterility test and identification of micro-organisms.
All tests are performed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices / Good Laboratory Practices. In addition, you are responsible for checking test data and timely reporting of test results. You take care of accurate administration, so that retrieving data in the context of quality assurance is easy. In consultation, it is examined whether additional tasks or participation in projects is possible.
