A new PRIMARK® distribution center, spanning over 30,000 m², is located in Roosendaal. From this distribution center, France, Spain, and Italy are supplied with trendy clothing. In 2020, SSI SCHÄFER built the complete logistics setup in the DC and performs maintenance on, among other things, Automated Guided Vehicles, automatic cranes, a monorail system, and pallet transport systems. The system is currently being expanded with our shuttles and much more. If you come to work here, you will therefore be working with state-of-the-art technology, with your own tool cart, laptop, and phone. You will also have access to a fully equipped workshop and good coffee.

WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN?
As a maintenance technician, you will be part of our service team for PRIMARK® in Roosendaal. You will follow an extensive on-site training program regarding the maintenance of various technical installations. These include 20-meter-high automatic cranes, pallet transport systems, a monorail system, and Automated Guided Vehicles driving around.
You step in during breakdowns and coordinate maintenance actions with our logistics partner GXO. Together with your colleagues, you plan and execute the work. You collaborate closely with your team members and are skilled at coordinating matters, but you also perform tasks completely independently. In short: a challenging role where you work with innovative technology on a daily basis and can learn a great deal quickly. The new section of the site is scheduled to be put into operation next February, after which we will operate a 5-shift system. We are currently already working in shifts, but no night shifts have been scheduled yet.

wat ga je doen
Als Technician Maintenance MTD hou je je bezig met het onderhoud van de installaties in de fabrieken, waarbij de veiligheid van jezelf, je collega's, de processen en de omgeving altijd vooropstaat. Je wordt intern opgeleid tot senior monteur, zodat je alle in en outs van de fabriek leert kennen.

• Oplossen en uitvoeren van onderhoud: Jij lost mechanische storingen aan de installaties op, voert preventieve en correctieve taken uit en begeleid en voer je reparaties en optimalisaties uit.
• Administratie en afstemming: Jij geeft de terugkoppeling van de uitgevoerde werkzaamheden in SAP en biedt support en advies aan de planning en werkvoorbereiding.
• Verbeteren en projecten: Jij doet verbeteringsvoorstellen op het gebied van veiligheid, kwaliteit, betrouwbaarheid en kosten, en begeleidt projecten en werkzaamheden die door derden worden uitgevoerd.
• Documentatie en engineering: Jij beheert en verzorgt deels de technische documentatie, schrijft en beheert procedures en instructies, en ondersteunt bij engineering werkzaamheden.

Then you call in technical backup from maintenance technicians to get the line back up and running quickly.

• Independently operating high-tech production lines after your onboarding period;
• Analyzing, tackling, and resolving malfunctions within the production process;
• Ensuring a safe and clean working environment and performing quality checks.

where will you work
You will be working in Cuijk or Gennep; the choice is yours. In Gennep, you will work in an impressive high-tech environment producing well-known diapers. Meanwhile, Cuijk specializes in processing and producing paper products, such as TORK and napkins for fast-food chains. Both locations offer a pleasant, stable working atmosphere where safety and excellent working conditions are the top priority.
