We are looking for a Dutch-speaking Economist to strengthen our macroeconomics team in Amsterdam, with a particular focus on households. In this role, you will help develop data-driven insights on consumer spending, household income, savings, confidence and broader economic developments. Working with unique proprietary data, you will contribute to distinctive economic analysis and research that informs clients, colleagues and senior stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to shape research projects from idea to publication while collaborating with experts across the team.

Roles and responsibilities

In this role you will:

• Develop clear, data-driven insights on consumer spending, household income, savings, confidence and broader macroeconomic developments.
• Analyse unique proprietary data and translate those insights into distinctive economic analysis.
• Write economic research independently.
• Manage and coordinate research processes.
• Translate economic developments into relevant insights for clients, colleagues and other senior stakeholders.
• Create presentations on economic themes for both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
• Lead research processes from asking the right question through to sharing and presenting the output.
• Coordinate with colleagues on both content and process to ensure analysis is relevant, clear, accurate and delivered on time.

We're looking for someone who brings:

• Experience in economic research or a related analytical field.
• An MSc in Economics or a comparable discipline.
• Quantitative and programming skills, or the willingness to further develop these capabilities.
• Knowledge of macroeconomics and an interest in household and consumer behaviour.
• The ability to develop and contribute to research projects, both independently and in collaboration with colleagues.
• Experience working with large datasets and applying data responsibly.
• Clear written communication skills and the ability to translate data into meaningful and engaging insights.
• The ability to communicate complex economic topics to a range of audiences.
• Fluency in Dutch and professional English language skills.

Voor de gemeente Gooise Meren zijn wij op zoek naar een tijdelijke kracht om te helpen bij de controle van bouwdossiers.

Dit is een functie waarbij je per direct kunt starten, voor 3 - 5 dagen per week. De werktijden zijn flexibel in te delen tussen 08.30 - 17.00 en de duur van de opdracht is ongeveer 2-3 maanden.

• Bruto maandsalaris van €2.596 - €3.743
• Tijdelijke opdracht voor 2-3 maanden
• 24 - 36 uur per week

Onze ideale kandidaat voldoet aan onderstaande eisen:

• Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal
• Per direct beschikbaar voor 24-36 uur per week
• In de gelegenheid om naar Bussum te reizen
• MBO werk- en denkniveau
• Ervaring met archiefwerkzaamheden, DIV of informatiebeheer is een pré

wat ga je doen
Jouw werkzaamheden zullen bestaan uit:

• Controleren en aanvullen van het overzicht van de bouwdossiers
• Controleren of de documenten in de juiste volgorde in het dossier zitten
• Waar nodig tabbladen plaatsen tussen verschillende onderdelen, zoals aanvraag vergunning, adviezen en vergunning
• Te vernietigen bouwdossiers uit de verzameling halen
• Documenten die voor vernietiging in aanmerking komen apart plaatsen
• Controleren en verwijderen van nietjes uit de documenten.
